RCCE’s latest dental mission — in Pardo!
On Sunday September 1, the Rotary Club of Cebu East conducted another successful dental mission in the barangay of Cogon, Pardo, in Cebu City.
As always, the mission was led by Dr. Wilbert Uykingtian from RC Cebu East and Dr. Ann Perolino from the Dentistry school at Southwestern University. Our diligent, skilled, and reliable Rotaractors were there to make sure that the patients received expert medical care!
After a Mass was held in the Sports Complex from 8am to 9am, dental operations began. Over 200 patients, young and old, were treated from the start until 4pm. The area experienced heavy rains and some flooding, but this did not stop us at all!
Procedures included:
- Dental consultation
- Dental cleaning
- Oral prophylaxis
- Dental Fillings
- Tooth extractions
