Christmas Bundles of Joy in Cordova 2018!
On Sunday December 16, the Rotary Club of Cebu East conducted its second Bundles of Joy mission of the season, at the Cordova Alternative Resource for Education (CARE) school on Mactan island.
As always, this mission was coordinated by Teacher Maricor and PP Nick Tajale of RC Cebu East. We commend Teacher Maricor’s indefatigable efforts to being education and wisdom to the very underprivileged children of Cordova. We also thank PP Nick and his family for generously providing lunch for the kids.
PP Wilbert Uykingtian of RC Cebu East donated a large amount of toys, to bring the children some additional joy during this very special season.
We’d also like to thank a donor to our club, Mynheer H. Jobse from the Netherlands, whose kind contributions paid for new t-shirts for the kids!
